Rash from my hand fingers to my upper arms around to back. Looks like tiny scratches. Went to Dr he said Scabies. I don't believe it but I got the cream. No-one else here 4 others have anything on them. I take 200 mg of synthetic and a slew of other meds.

Hello, Joy! How are you? Has there been any change?

One easy way to tell if it is scabies is to see if the rash forms patterns. They are mites and tend to move in straight lines, so you may notice patterns that look like an N, Z or W. It should also be itchy and worsen, whenever you get warm, such as when getting a shower, or being under a blanket, because the heat makes them more active. It also typically starts between your fingers, but sometimes also between the toes.

The looking like tiny scratches is likely what made your doctor think Scabies, since they burrow under the skin and form the lines that I mentioned.

And yes, you could also have it, without anyone else in the house catching it, though they should also be checked, too.

The cream for it actually dries out your outer layer of skin to kill them. As reported by the FDA, it doesn't typically cause a lot of side effects, except for some skin redness and irritation.

Have you tried it yet?
