My tooth has been hurting me for 1 week. I've been getting excruciating pain on the side of my head & my breath smells bad... I have levofloxacin 500 mg. Will it work for a tooth infection?
Yes, it is an antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
However, it is also important to still seek proper treatment, or this issue will likely continue to keep getting worse.
Is there anything else I can help with?
