Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Montelukast

I'm wondering why this syrup is used for children? I would like to know the full details about this syrup. Can anybody please help me?

This medication is used to help treat or prevent allergy symptoms, such as sneezing and congestion. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and dry mouth.
