My father is 83 years old suffering from recurrent complicated UTI , he is also a patent of Dementia. Catheter has introduced due to absence of natural voiding of blubber. He is suffering from UTI and as per doctor advice Levo 750 has been given. But the problem is he is having fever around 99 to 101. From last 6 days levo 750 has been given to him. Please suggest.

A fever can be a normal symptom of an infection, according to the NIH.
The side effects of the medication, are listed by the NIH as possible including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Is he on any other medications? Has there been any change, yet?
