Lauderdale Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medication

I need a Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton Florida pain doctor. My doctor turned out to
to be skirting the law and is currently under investigation. When he became tipped off of the investigation the doctor who for six years had been treating me out of
the blue started a detox not only on me but also with his other pain patients. This occurred two weeks after my mom lossed her battle of (6) years from Alzheimer's. He never told me why this was occurring. I was so upset by loosing my best friend that I had let my guard down with this doctor. A non - doctor who owned both the doctors office and the pharmacy where I received my prescriptions fedex'ed to my home the next day after I had seen this doctor. I naively bought the pitch by the owner that having my medications dispensed thru his pharmacy would allow me to spend more quality with my mom. Further after I began this detox I was told not
to communicate with the office at nights, on weekends and on Fridays.
I was told to go to the emergency room if a problem occurred. I finally left as a patient the day the doctor advised me that he did not know how to treat my pain syndrome.
This was because prior to him I had been a patient at the University of Miami pain clinic who had spent years finding the medications that helped my pain syndrome
It was after the pain clinic closed that I had to find another pain
doctor who ended up being shady. I am finding that the treatment for pain patients I have changed since I had been a patient at the University of Miami. I know have become home bound with no options in sight. Doctors of Mayo Clinic had advised me that my pain condition could not be diagnosed thru blood tests, MRI's, cat scans etc. No one is looking for a cure and doctors want to see a gross abnormality
on these tests before they prescribe anything. I wonder if I should fight or die. How
long can a person last having to endure the pain and being housebound without any hope in sight.

Were you ever able to find a new pm? I'm not familiar with any clinics near Boca or Ft Lauderdale. There are 3 here in Tampa. I hope you do have your records...plz let me know if u would lil the info of these pm clinics I will help as much as I can
