Hello, I have an new Rx for contrave. I take wellbutrin 7.5mg BID. I took my last dose last night. When can I start Contrave?

Hello, Jody! How are you?
Unless your doctor or pharmacist has told you otherwise, it should be a clean switch from one to the other. You can't take them both, at the same time, in the same day, so the Contrave should take over when you are due for your next dose.
The FDA warns that the typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and anorexia.
