I found an unlabeled bottle with Mexico scribbled on it in my teenager's room. It has large (thumbnail sized) round, light peach-colored tablets in it. They are scored in the middle on one side. They have the word Silanes on the other. I want to find out what they are before I say anything. Silanes appears to be a drug manufacturer in Mexico, but that's all I've been able to find online. Heard him mention "oxy" to someone on the phone.

Hello Susan,
Unfortunately the pills manufactured in Mexico aren't really identifiable online. The silanes imprint is a reference to the manufacturer and not the contents of the pill itself. Truthfully all that you can do in order to identify the contents of the pill is have them analyzed at a company designed to do so. There are multiple companies you can find online to do this for you or if you're lucky a local pharmacy might have the capability to do so for you, you would need to call around to find out.
