Labels On Hydrocodone

My prescription has always had the label, Watson on one side the other 3202 white oval tablet. This month my refill is different, white oval tablet with #2172 on one side. They told me they're from a different manufacturer, and they seem to not help as much. Is this a weaker brand, was told possibly a (placebo) can you advise me ? Thank you.

It is not a placebo, but there have been many complaints about it lacking efficacy.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

You may need to consult your doctor about taking an alternative medication, for awhile, until you can find a pharmacy that carries it from a different manufacturer.
