Hello, Joe! How are you>

These contain 20mgs of Omeprazole, with is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis.

That said, if it the bottle was opened 2 years, like an over the counter bottle or in a bottle that was dispensed by your pharmacy, then they expired one year from that time. They don't get dangerous, when expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy and it would be best to dispose of them and pick up a new supply.

However, if they were still sealed in the original factory container, then are usually good for 3 to 4 years.

Is there anything else I can help with?
