ketosteril was prescribed by my doctor in treatment of suspected kidney failure. The drug is very expensive here in the philippines, is there any substitute for Ketosteril 600 which is much cheaper?

Hi.I came from Fresenius Kabi before & I was marketing ketosteril before I got promoted as a Product Specialist.Now I managed my own drug distribution company which still carries ketosteril because it was proven to be the only effective ketoanalogue in the market that slows down the progression of renal failure.Price was always the concerned of all patients including our target nephrologist doctor but there was no other choice.Time came Ketobest(by Goodfellow)came in & arrived here in the Philippines which is a cheaper one which can be sell at 29.16/tab compared to ketosteril 39.51/tab so my target nephrologist doctors made a trial to their patients & it had exactly the same therapeutic effect w/ the innovator without the "after taste" of the tablet which lowers down the creatinine level of patients thereby slows down the progression of the renal failure. Now all of my nephrologist doctors were dispensing "Ketobest".
