UpdatedCan this topical cream affect your sleeping cycle??? Can it make you sleep a heavy sleep?

Hello, JoAnn! How are you?
No, it shouldn't. The medications may cause drowsiness as side effects, but you only absorb a little of them, when using them topically, so it shouldn't cause a deep, heavy sleep.
For that to happen, someone would basically have to almost bathe in it.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Thanks so much. Can it be addictive?
Hello,
I just received a topical Cream Keta/Cyclo/GABA/Lido (10%/2%/6%/3.5%).
I was told to put it in all places where I am experiencing pain and on the bottle it says: Apply 3 times daily for pain and/or muscle spasms as needed.
*** PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!! *** I suffer from extreme nerve pain in my back. It affects the left side more but the pain starts mid/lower back and shoots up into my neck (arms included) and down into my legs. I applied it everywhere I was experiencing pain. It made me sleep, had a severe headache, and it made me feel as though my spine was going to literally drop and hit the floor. Maybe I put too much on... Idk...
Questions:
1. What are all the abbreviations i.e. GABA=Gabapentin (I only know that one because I take tablet form)?
2. Does anyone know what the side effects are?
I will say it worked for the most part but then it managed to give me new issues which terrifies me because it was so severe.
The cream I have is Keta 10% / Baclo 2% / Cyclo 2% / Gaba 6% / Lido 5%. This compound topical cream is prescribed for my foot due to nerve damage from a car accident. Permanent nerve damage. I would like to know if I can use it on my scalp for sores that are painful and itchy?
Hi. I was wondering if I can ask my pain management doctor if he can prescribe "gaba keto lido cream" for me? What is this cream typically used for?
Re: Lydia (# 5)
it is gabapentin (SSRI affects brain), ketoprofen( NSAID affects cells near injury to shrink down and "de-swell") , Lidocaine (mild numbing agent, relaxes cells near injury to not excite aka "feel"),
What does the amithcl mean in this cream and what does it do? Please help. Thanks
Is it okay to use lido cream if you have tyroids disease
