I was prescribed a similar cream, without the gabo, but it came with tubes of lidocaine and prilocaine. I was wondering what the compounds were? This site has been very helpful figuring that out. I wish the creams were as helpful to me. It was prescribed as a replacement for hydromorphone, which worked great for 8 yrs, before and after my surgery. But now the "opioid crisis" has made pain Drs afraid to order anything that really works. The only people this hurts is those of us that really need help. I think the addicts seem to have no trouble getting what they want. It's not fair to us.
