Is there a score line on the side with the 56, so it could possibly be 516?

If so, this tablet is manufactured by Lannett Company and they list it as being a 100mcg Unithroid tablet, which is most commonly used to treat thyroid issues.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, weight changes, and hair loss.
