Jadelle Removal And Replacement
UpdatedI've had my jadelle for 4 years approximately. I've never had any problems with it, in fact unlike many I know I love it. I know I need to get it removed soon to preserve its efficiency but I don't want to try another long term contraceptive. I was wondering if anyone knew if and what is the time frame between having a jadelle removed and getting a new one? I've researched but cannot find any information about this anywhere. If it is not plausible, what is the best alternative long term contraception?

Hello, Toast! How are you?
In most cases, they can be replaced immediately, but it really depends on your doctor.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, spotting and PMS-like symptoms.
Is there anything else I can help with?
