Has anyone had the jadelle implant and had bad side effects? I got it done a weeks ago and have started light bleeding over the last few days and it wont go away as well as my skin breaking out.

i hv been inserted jadelle fo 18 months nw if i eat i get hungry after 2hrs is it normal and um boosting body

Hi, I have had this Jadelle for the past 6 months now and my experience is that during the first 2 months, i was just spotting but now the periods are prolonged from 4 days to 9 or so days. Iam tired of this. Will this stabilize or now its a way of life? Secondly, the way periods are coming like almost normal, wont I Conceive and have unexpected pregnancy? Please help?

Hi I'm 41 years old and I had jadelle for almost 4years and I just got this weird feelings same as yours.I've got lots of those symtoms same as you and others that I read.but I didn't come across with anyone has sore arm around where you got and its goes up to my shoulders so I'm waiting for my appointment to remove it.Do you think I make a right decision?

The true name for Jadelle is Norplant. I was on it for 6 years. (I lapsed one yr due to insurance issues) at tjat time theu were pulling it from the market so I had to wait for the makers to send me a coupon for free removal. I LOVED my implant. I went through a bit a over bleeding for aboit three months and then no periods at all for four yrs. (Heaven) no headaches, no acne, nothing after the three months. Hang in there it is worth it to have to deal with the extra stuff to where it is good.

i hd my jadelle one year ago then started going on period after one year .would usualy skip 2months without going the the following bcomes normal period but nw my problem is am having light spoting it sometimes stops and continues the following day and its almost a week now.is this normal or i should get it removed or what should i do to stop the spoting .please help

This will be my first month of having the Jadelle implant.
In december 2010, had the IUD removed, went on Depo till Feb 24th had the implant inserted, It is now 22nd March and i am noticing side effects.
- Break out with the acne, one or 2 decent pimples a week
- Little weight gain. 2-3 kgs
-No Period.

Ive been trying to to find other womens info on Jadelle but nothing!!!
