Has anyone had the jadelle implant and had bad side effects? I got it done a weeks ago and have started light bleeding over the last few days and it wont go away as well as my skin breaking out.

hie this is my second yr wth jadelle i also dnt go fo periods,not gaining weight,but im always having mild headaches here a there

Yes i have decided to have them removed, not lookn forward to it tho as a friend had hers out and she said they have to cut them out as they become part of you prety much..just hope weight comes off as easy and as fast as it went on! Thanks

Yes I've had weight gain! About 20kg I've gained! And I'm having mine out on the 23rd.

I am 37 and have had jadelle for around 10 months, i just realised the other day that my sometimes extrem reoccurring headaches, 11kg (im 67kg) weight gain and sometimes sudden onset of itchy groin area are all since having the jadelle, i am wanting to have them removed now as iv never being so heavy in my life..mainly around my waist, i look 8 months pregnant! Any1 else had extream weight gain and lost it after having theres removed please?

I've been using jadelle for 2yrs now and I've been having normal periods but now its been 3 months without periods. I`m scared to buy a preg test coz I dont want bad news. Is it normal?

Hi I have been on the Jadelle for 2 years now. Ever since it has been inserted my skin broke out all over my face, forehead, on my head (literally in my hair) neck, back and shoulders. I was hoping for it to go away cause i only have 2 other side effects that aren't that bad. The irregular periods are horrible but naturally I'd have them for 2 weeks at a time, and the pelvic pain. But I'm used to it as naturally it's quite bad also. I'm wondering if anybody else suffers from pimples in these areas and what you done about it? I'm definitely getting it removed but I know that's going to cause an even greater imbalance :/

I used norplant for 5 yrs,on removal i was inserted with jadelle to go for 3 yrs which is almost due for removal. The only side effects i has was dizziness and nausea for a few days after procedure which went away and irregular menses which i don't mind. My worry is for the last 10 days i have had light bleeding i don't know if it's normal though i have been under pressure for the same period, i don't know if it's related. Love the implants though! Great!

Hi, I've been on jadelle for three years and during that time I've developed melasma-skin discolouration on my face, vertigo, periods for over two weeks, skin inflammation. .. The melasma is terrible, and my spotty arms
I'm now booked to have the rods removed. .. Anyone else wid similar symptoms?

Yes,nausea is one of the side effects. Iv had my implant for a week now and iv been having nausea a lot.

i have had mine for 2 years and the headaches have been terrible.wont mention the weight gain and spoting.would have had it removed if i dint fear pain so much.

hy. tk a control pill to control the bleeding. js tk 1 &wait til it works.f e bleeding stops u dnt nid to kip taking another. my doc advised me tt to control my frequent spotting. f u want to stop a period after t starts pop a pill. t may work for you.

Jadel is the best fp. in my opinion. It regulates weight and pregnancy is 99% after its removal. I used it and it took 3 weeks and was expectant again. In addition it increases libido. Bleeding and spotting should not make u worried. It's indeed comfortable. It's my fourth year with it and I have referred about 9 moms to go for it. It's nice.

I am also 23. I'm on my third year and I haven't had as many side effects. Occasionally, I do have some spotting between periods or 2-3 days delayed periods. However, mi last period was on May, it started around the 26 (i didn't take the exact date). About 2 weeks ago I had a spotting that lasted very little, which usually indicates my period coming, but it never did. I've lost appetite (food doesn't seem tasty at all for me) but the need to eat sweets for a couple of days. I took a HPT on the 1st but it came out negative. Is it possible that it is a false negative? Or is jadelle starting to mess up with me just now.

I have the implant on july 28 2014 and I have lost so much of weight I don't know what to do...plus I bled for 8 months and wen I do get my period then my period ends a few days I'm not bleeding then I start bleeding again just after my period....my doctor said its dangerous cause mosy people end up in hospital
