i have been on the jadelle for over 2 yrs now and have had periods on and off for the first year i had no period and mad headaches 2nd year it was regular but over the past few months have been the worst it have had bad lower back pain stomach cramps and bleeding heavily for 3mths what should i do? and why is this happening?
I got the jadelle inserted in October, a week later my headaches began. I noticed I was getting migraines more and more frequently. I'm now at the point where I'm getting a migraine which lasts for a week, every two weeks. The mood swings were very evident, as was the sudden growth of facial hair which grows back super fast. I got sick of feeling like s*** and got my Jadelle removed on Monday. Removal was quick and easy, barely any pain after. It's been 5 days and I've got another migraine... does anyone know how long it takes for the hormones from the jadelle to leave the body after removal?
Can jadelle cause muscle pain?I have had this ever since i inserted this in my arm
After 2 years on Jadelle I'm now having 6 week periods followed by 1 week of normality, a week of sore nipples , a week of PMS and then another 6 weeks of bleeding. Am heading back to the doctor this week.
How long does irregular bleed lasts on jadelle? How can I stop the bleeding?
I have the implant for four months and I have been having irregular menses from then.
Urgent help needed.
yes! the exact same thing is happening to me. I'm going to probably see my gp just to be sure I'm not pregnant but from the sounds of things, it's normal
I also have not received my period for 7 months now since I had the implant done.is that normal
I have lost 4kgs since I removed it my moods swings are literally non-existent and I have changed contraception to iud. I don't know if it will be the same with everyone but I'm happier now.
I had jadelle inserted and was intimate with my partner after 12 hours. Was I protected? I am worried.
Hi I have the same problems. I had my jadelle put in 3 years ago and have been bleeding non stop since it was inserted. Ive lost a ridiculous amount of blood, lost so much weight, have not been eating right for 3 years, have had a serious breakout of (pimples) Im not use to, from never having them at all to having a face full now is not good. I have itchy problems as where rods sit. but worst of all my blood has now started to smell, and quite bad!! I have seeked medical attention from gp's etc, and have been given medication to help slow down bleeding or stop it?? It has not worked for the past year and a half, and can not afford to get it removed as $187.00 is a ridiculous price to pay when its my life at stake..... Can anyone help with suggestions on what I should do?? There are a few more complications ive had since the jadelle but will state the above for now....
I am a very active person with a healthy eating lifestyle. I go to the gym daily and eat clean healthy foods. My doctors suggested to change my contraception. Because I have put on 40 kg since jadelle inserted 8 months ago. I will keep you all in the know to see if I lose it as fast as i put it on.
OK so I have had the Jadelle for just over 2 years now. I have noticed the break outs since I have had them put in but have put it down to stress of studying (I am a uni student) but now have noticed them getting worse although my stress levels are pretty good at the moment. I started to wonder whether it was the jadelle and read complaints all over the net about side effects INCLUDING severe acne. Now considering having them removed.
Hi it's totally normal it might be a little reaction to the bandage etc. i did too so they changed the dressing. Itching could also mean the wound is healing you'll be fine. Do go doctors if your'e worried
Hi, did you manage to loose some of the 20kg gain. For me taking ginger helps loose weight. Take care
