Has anyone had the jadelle implant and had bad side effects? I got it done a weeks ago and have started light bleeding over the last few days and it wont go away as well as my skin breaking out.

I have been on Jadelle for 2 years but i now want to remove this thing i can no longer bear this continuos bleeding,mood swings aaargh.

Hi there, im the opposite of that ive had the jadelle for 18 months i have not got my period for the 1st 17 months i started getting smears of blood an tummy aches help plzzzz

I'm 27yrs old I've been on jadelle for 5yrs & I reinsert since 1yr for 5 more yrs. Since I reinsert it i'm started getting lower abdominal pain at my left side, what should I do?

Hi, I've had jadelle for 3 months now and have experienced nausea, fatigue, bloated, gasey, headaches waking up, hair loss, and blurred eye vision. 2 weeks after I fist got it I spotted for 4 days and nothing ever since. I have also had blood in discharge on those days?? Never before... Now for the last half week I have been having abdominal cramping and a sore back as if I'm going to get a period.. But it's not coming. Really frustrating! Wanting to remove it as well :/ if anyone's simular please "help"

i have been on jadelle for 4years and 6months the only side effect i noticed is irregular period. am thinking of removing it to insert another one but my fair is, will the side effect differ this type or it will still remain thesame

Have had jadelle in for over 3 months now and only had a light period 2 weeks after insertion. And now I have a brownish discharge with pinky/red blood throughout it. I also have mild cramping on my right side with bad random shooting pains up my spine of the lower back. 3rd day today with this light little bleed. Yesterday I had very bad gas and felt bloated. On my 1st day of the discharge with blood I also woke up with a flu and sore throat. Feel very tired. And today I noticed I had eaten a lot? Is this just a light period or is it implantation bleeding? Anyone??? Brown discharge with pinky/red blood. Sometime little dot/clots with clear discharge?

I've had the jadelle for over 5 months and 2 weeks after I got it inserted I got my period, the problem is that it hasn't stopped within the time I've had the jadelle, why is that?

hey this thing might chase my husband out.i got inserted a year ago and it was ok but now i have been bleeding continously for a month,terrible headache,and cramps.aghhhh plizzzz help

Hi I have had the Jadellle for two years the nurse said it will be fine for another 2 years when i questioned her on its effectiveness still after how long i had had it for so far. As i am over 60kgs my periods where a bit irregular in the first few months but then sorted itself out and i have had regular periods with no side effects until recently. I finished my last period on the 25/4/15 since then no period but have had similar signs to pregnancy i.e sore breasts, fatigue, peeing more ect I am now worried i may be pregnant. I read up on the med safe information about the Jadellle and it said that its common in the beginning to have bleeding changes or no bleeding but will sort itself out later on. My concern is can your periods just stop suddenly when they have been so regular and if i am pregnant will it effect the pregnancy ? Has anyone got pregnant on the jadelle or has anything similar happen to anyone else

The true name for Jadelle is Norplant. I was on it for 6 years. (I lapsed one yr due to insurance issues) at tjat time theu were pulling it from the market so I had to wait for the makers to send me a coupon for free removal. I LOVED my implant. I went through a bit a over bleeding for aboit three months and then no periods at all for four yrs. (Heaven) no headaches, no acne, nothing after the three months. Hang in there it is worth it to have to deal with the extra stuff to where it is good.

I have the implant on july 28 2014 and I have lost so much of weight I don't know what to do...plus I bled for 8 months and wen I do get my period then my period ends a few days I'm not bleeding then I start bleeding again just after my period....my doctor said its dangerous cause mosy people end up in hospital

I am also 23. I'm on my third year and I haven't had as many side effects. Occasionally, I do have some spotting between periods or 2-3 days delayed periods. However, mi last period was on May, it started around the 26 (i didn't take the exact date). About 2 weeks ago I had a spotting that lasted very little, which usually indicates my period coming, but it never did. I've lost appetite (food doesn't seem tasty at all for me) but the need to eat sweets for a couple of days. I took a HPT on the 1st but it came out negative. Is it possible that it is a false negative? Or is jadelle starting to mess up with me just now.

Jadel is the best fp. in my opinion. It regulates weight and pregnancy is 99% after its removal. I used it and it took 3 weeks and was expectant again. In addition it increases libido. Bleeding and spotting should not make u worried. It's indeed comfortable. It's my fourth year with it and I have referred about 9 moms to go for it. It's nice.

hy. tk a control pill to control the bleeding. js tk 1 &wait til it works.f e bleeding stops u dnt nid to kip taking another. my doc advised me tt to control my frequent spotting. f u want to stop a period after t starts pop a pill. t may work for you.
