Almost all medications can cause that, it's really not unusual. You may also find your cycle changing and being longer or short than usual.
Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, flushing, hypotension and abdominal pain.
However, if they get too heavy or last too long, then you should consult your doctor.
