This is not used as a sedative.

This capsule contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 100mgs of Dichlorophenazone and 65mgs of Isometheptene, commonly old under the brand name Migrex and used to treat migraine headaches.

The Dichlorophenazone is a mild sedative, so that is why it may have been thought to be a used for sedation.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness.
