Is Zofran A Benzodiazepene

I take methadone and thats it. Sometimes I take 8mg of zofran for bad nausea, but I my lab work keeps showing benzo and I dont understand why. Could someone tell me so I can show the clinic that I do not take benzos please?

Is it true or not that (Ondansetron) Zofran 4mg has any type of Benzodiazepines? Yes or No????? Would live to have a relpy. Thank you.

No, Zofran (Ondansetron) is not considered a benzodiazepene. According to the NIH "Ondansetron is in a class of medications called serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of serotonin ..." I hope this helps! As to the original question, if you are taking different medications I'd bring in proof of your prescriptions before the lab work is done and they should be able to factor in any erroneous results.
