Is Tramacet Addictive (Top voted first)

I am currently taking tramacet while I'm waiting for surgery for my broken jaw. Having taken narcotic drugs recreationally before I can tell you that it certainly doesn't feel like any narcotic drug I've taken. As far as pain relief is concerned it is amazing and has allowed me to continue working and functioning. I haven't experienced any side effects.

Yes, the Tramadol in this medication can be habit forming and addictive.

While it is classified as just a centrally acting analgesic, it is derived from an opiate, so it can also cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth.

Yes three weeks later I needed to return to the Dental surgeon and mentioned that he prescribed Tramacet and that I had mentioned that I had been on opioids for over two years to the nurse and did not want any pain meds. Then he said so you went without pain meds and my reply was no! He seemed shocked. I also got a virus two days after the surgery, so I hadn't noticed that the horse kicked my face! Lol...pain management is great to a certain point, sometimes we need a little help!
