Hello, Jennifer! How are you? Has it improved, yet?

Irregular bleeding can occur for the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the hormones in an oral contraceptive, so yes, this can be normal. Other side effects, as reported by the FDA, may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.

However, if the bleeding gets severely heavy, or continues after several months, then you should consult your doctor as it may not be the right OC for you to take.

Is there anything else I can help with?
