There is no instant release 30mg Oxycodone, the ones manufactured by Mallinckrodt with the M on them are regular release tablets, they work within about 15 to 20 minutes of taking them.

That said, there have always been several of this dosage available from different manufacturers. That is very common with generics, so yes, they most likely do have one from a different manufacturer.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
