Is There A Connection Between The Tablets I Take And Being Sensitive To The Sun

This is a bit weird my doctor thinks that my tablets could be the cause to getting blisters when i go out in the Sun even using factor 50 Sun screen on the parts of my body that is exposed to the Sun I'm taking oxycontin 40mg prolonged release twice a day oxynorm 60mg immediate release 3-4 hourly amitriptyline 150mg at night seractil 400mg 3 times a day co-codamol 8mg/500mg 4 hourly sage 600mg a day and calcium 800mg twice a day please help its driving me mad thanks for any help x x Claire x x

Yes, there definitely could be a connection. There are many prescription medications that can make someone sensitive to the effects of the sun and heat.

The Amitriptyline you are taking is very well known for causing sun sensitivity and it is probably compounded by the other medications you are on, such as the Oxycodone and the Codeine in the CoCodamol.
