I have been given Purata as a subsittute for Fluntrazpam which was suddenly taken off the market. I have a severe sleeping disorder that kept me on Fluntrazpan for 24 years.
Purata is not performing the function and as a consequence I am being vert sleep deprived.
What other medication is available to perform the function of Fluntrazpan that you can recommend ? I am 79 years old !

I am in South Africa where I have found the Purtata prescribed to be totally inadequate to aliviate insomnia, but I have found Dormicum and Arem to be adequate substitutes for Royhepnol and Fluntrazpam......... Arem is one fith the cost of Dormicium here but may go under different names elsewhere.
