Hello, Pam! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
Both of the medications you mentioned contain Oxycodone, Percodan couples it with Aspirin and Percocet couples it with Acetaminophen, so if Oxycodone makes you sick, you may also want to stay away from them.
Vicodin might be a better choice, it contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. It's an idea you would ask your doctor about, anyway.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
