The FDA classifies both as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Lortab contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, while Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone.
