There are no warnings listed and I know the doctor in the ER prescribed the regular release Oxycodone for me and my cardio doc also didn't have a problem with my taking it with my HBP.

Most narcotics actually lower blood pressure and are more of a danger to someone with Hypotension.

The only thing that has changed in the new OP formulation is the attempt to prevent abuse, by altering it so that if someone tries to crush or chew it, it retains its time released properties.


Monocef contains the active ingredient Cephradine, this is an antibiotic, used to treat various types of infections.

Some common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
