Yes and no, the amount of Acetaminophen in it is lower and the ones with the higher doses are no longer available. This medication was changed and all formulations that are now available can only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose.
However, the Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic for some people, so the one with the higher amount of it may work better for them, but it doesn't work that way for everyone, so for some people these might basically be equivalent, since they both contain 10mgs of the Hydrocodone.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
