Is Levofloxacin 500 Compatible With Warfarin (Top voted first)

I'm on blood thinners, and have developed an infection in my lower leg. Will the use of levofloxacin hamper my warfarin effectiveness?

However, you should see your doctor for a different antibiotic.

The Levofloxacin can actually increase the effectiveness of the Warfarin, which greatly increased your risk of bleeding.

I was prescribed 500MG of Levofloxacin for a sinus infection and broke out with a rash on my legs which is very itchy. I have taken this medicine before and never had a problem. I am allergic to soft shelled seafood or any drug affiliated with that type of mixture. I stopped taking this prescription 6 days ago and still have this rash. Can you help me please?
