Is It Safe To Use Ilvitrim Suspension??

Hello. My Daughter is 7 days old and I took her to the GP she had terrible gramps and Diarrhea the Dr gave her Ilvitrim Suspension? Is this safe for her??

Ilvitrim is just an antibiotic, it is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections, so it can be taken even if someone is not HIV positive.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

If your child has an infection and the doctor has prescribed this, it is best to give it to them, as instructed. Letting an infection continue untreated may be life threatening.
