Tramadol doesn't get dangerous after the expiration, according to the information I've found, but it does begin to lose effectiveness, so it won't alleviate pain as well as it did, when new.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

It would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new prescription.
