Is It Safe To Take Percocet Withclavulanic Acid

I'm taking clavulanic acid for sinus infection an fluid in my ears and Lucas lasting over 2 weeks..but I'm a heart patient an today my blood pressure climbed very high after taking my medicine.i take Percocet for my back an metoporal.for blood pressure among other medicines.was wondering if it's normal for this mix to make your blood pressure go up so high..i also have a rash on my chin and forhead...im afraid to continue the antibiotics without knowing...ive already had heart attacks don't want another one...

Did you mean that you are taking Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid? Clavulanic Acid is not usually prescribed by itself. Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid is a generic for Augment, it is commonly used to treat bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

What other medications are you taking? It is difficult to answer your question without knowing all the details involved. How high was your blood pressure, today? What had you been doing, before you checked it?
