I took two extra strength Tylenol at 11:00 am. How long would I need to wait to take a Percocet 5?

You should wait about 8 hours, according to FDA guidelines, you should not exceed 1,000mgs of Acetaminophen in any 8 hour time period and no more than 3,000mgs in 24 hours, otherwise, you increase your risk of liver damage, or failure, which has the potential to be fatal.

They also want that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming.
