Is It Safe To Take 8 Pills Of Eryko 250 Per Day?

my stamach is paining after i take 2 pills of eryko 250 at a sametime as dr told me to take 2 pills every 4 hours which means 8 pills per day. So what i should do as my stamach keep paining?

are you taking the ERKO short term? it sounds like a "stack" dose. You could be allergic. Antibiotics are hard on the stomach, you may need to call your dr. you may be allergic to them.

"Just want to help" may be correct, you could be allergic to Eryko 250. However, Eryko 250 contains the antibiotic Erythromycin which can cause Gastrointestinal disturbances- such as: diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Those side effects are very common so you may just need to ask your doctor for another antibiotic. If you're experiencing any nausea, I've read that eating a small meal before taking the medication can be beneficial. Also, you may want to ask your doctor about using Probiotics while on the antibiotic- to help reinstate good bacteria into your body. Antibiotics wipe out the majority of bacteria- good and bad- so it definitely helps to add the good stuff back in!

I am taking the eryko 250 as prescribed by a Dr. 2 every 4 hrs but I only manage to tkae 6 tablets two in the morning,da and evening not every 4 hrs as told due to lack of time management. Will this have a negative impact on my recovery?
