I started spotting 3 months after having jadelle inserted. It continued for 1 month and have stopped for 2 weeks now. I sometimes have strong stomach cramps and my body temperature has risen. Could I be pregnant? Pls help me. I am confused.

I am 30 yrs old, I inserted Janelle 2 yrs ago. Then on the last day of my period I had intercourse. It was on the 2nd of august 2016. From that day on I didn't see my period again and now I'm not feeling myself. I'm vomiting, loosing weight, lacking appetite. Does that mean I'm pregnant? Plz help.

The only way to know for sure is by having yourself checked for pregnancy, though it isn't very likely that you are, given that you have the Jadelle implant.
Some women stop having periods, when using contraceptives, the U.S. FDA lists the other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

My name is Lynn I have been on the contraceptive jadelle since 2014 but I had my son the same year. I feel the implant hurting sometimes. I have had intercourse with my husband 2 days back. I have been feeling nauseous, headaches, tired, and have cravings. I go for salty stuff and my period for this month has not come. Please kindly assist me.

Hi i have the jadelle as well I've had it for a year after my 2nd child was born I had intercourse last day of my period & I have missed a period and have symptoms of being pregnant am i? I dont want to get my hopes up or anything? And how long does it take for the rod to affect the baby?

Hi, I had Jadelle put in November 2015 and had my period in Dec. Didn't get my period again till Feb 8, 2017. I certainly did not miss it, lol! I spotted for another 2 months everyday! I was so pissed. Anyways, i still spot but like once or twice in a week or in two weeks but that's not the problem. I am so tired all the time, nauseous, really sleepy (which only happens when I am pregnant) especially the sleep part. I am one of many women God blessed with painless pregnancy and labor, my babies just pop out, but i sleep like "KILODE". Long story short, i took a pregnancy evaluation and it came out negative, and i don't know if that counts cause when i was pregnant for my second daughter, my blood work came out negative too. I am tired of feeling this way, could there be a chance that i am pregnant so i can take it off ASAP? I want a whole baby. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RESPOND! Thanks.

I was taking jadelle. One rod was removed and another remained without my knowledge. One week ago i had unprotected intercourse and i used emergency contraceptives. Now I am experiencing serious abdominal pain. What can be the cause? Can i get pregnant due to using both jadelle and a contraceptive pill?

Hi... When I had my Jadelle implant inserted a week ago, my dr said that it would work within 24 hrs.... that's it. After a couple days my boyfriend and I had intercourse and he didn't put a condom on. I read online that I should've waited 7 days... Is this true with all implants?

Actually Rachel I have a work mate who got pregnant while on Jadelle. When she went too the doctors he told her she was carrying and need it to go to a scan sure enough she was pregnant with her 4th child. Her doctors explanations was that she was the 1% that Jadelle did not work on. So yes you can
