Is It Bad To Miss A Period?

I have been on Lo loestrin Fe for 3 months now and I only got my period the first month. I have been skipping the while and brown pills because my doctor says they were just reminder pills so I don't necessarily have to take them but I want to start taking them so I might get my period. I was wondering if its bad that I don't get my period? Could not getting it affect my reproductive system and not let me have a baby or a period later on?

Your doctor told you there are white pills that you don't have to take, either?

That is incorrect, only the brown pills in this pack are inactive, there are hormones in the other 28 tablets and you should be taking all of them. Only the 2 brown tablets are inactive placebo, reminder tablets.

That means that there is a chance you may be pregnant and you should consult your doctor, just in case.

However, skipping a period due to being on them is not harmful and no, it will not affect future fertility.
