Is Hdrocodone And Oxycodone The Same Drug

Lorocet I am taking have been for years Dr changed me to perocet ten they are making me sick I want to go back to lorcet ten why is their some different drug in one and not the other why does they different

Hello, Lumbee Girl! How are you doing? Sorry about the problems that you're having.

The reason they are different is because not every drug works for everyone. We are all different, so someone else may not be able to take the Lorcet, but the Percocet may work great for them.

The most likely reason your doctor changed your prescription is because there is a shortage right now and the combination medications with higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them will no longer be available after the new year. All of them will be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose.

Thus, it really seems like your doctor was trying to be helpful.

Have you talked to them about it making you sick? They may be able to prescribe something to help prevent the nausea
