Is Erythromycin Safe In 18 Weeks Pregnancy

I have been having cough snc a week now. and the Dr prescribed tab erythromycin 500mg test x1/52, vit. c & a cough syrup. am asking if its safe for me at ds 18 weeks old pregnancy?
