Is Ercefuryl A Diarrhea Stopper Like Immodium Or Only An Antibiotic?

I have occasional IBS, also diverticulitis. Is there a gentle diarrhea stopper I can use while I am travrlling for a couple of weeks other than immodium

Jm. Ercefuryl is an intestinal antiseptic not an antibiotic. It is safe to use and has no harmful side effects. .It is highly effective against intestinal bacterial infections. The other highly effective medication is neomycin which is an antibiotic and you would need a doctor's prescription. .
