Is Clavamel A Type Of Penicillin

Is Clavamel a type of penicillin? Have taken five courses of antibiotics and still sick.
Augmentin doesn't work for me.

Hello, Kate! How are you? I'm sorry that you're so ill. Are you sure that your illness is due to an infection? It it's something viral, then antibiotics won't help.

But yes, Clavamel is a basic Penicillin and the U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
