Is Butalbital Discontinued Forever Everywhere

Can I get butalbital anywhere, or has only Westward discontinued use of it, and where can I find this out?

Hi Debbie, How are you? Sorry to hear about your challenges finding a replacement for Butalbital. I believe you had posted another question on here that I recently responded to, but I wanted to note that there are a few other options in the same drug class as Butalbital that might be worth looking into: Thialbarbital, Phenobarbital, Sodium thiopental, and Methohexital.

Many of these are also regarded as general anesthetics, but in smaller doses they may be appropriate for their sedating and relaxing effects that can help alleviate tension headaches or migraines. Perhaps you can ask your doctor about using one or more of these as a replacement drug?
