Hi, I took a home pregnacy came positive. A few days later suffering abdominal pains and there was blood stained discharge, then I went to the clinic they gave me Anaerobyl pills and the pain is still there. Am i safe? I am 4 weeks pregnant.

If Anaerobyl contains the active ingredient Metronidazole, it is classified in pregnancy category B in the USA [1]. Metronidazole is an antibiotic medication to treat bacterial infection. Pregnancy category B means that a drug is generally considered safe for pregnant women to take [2] - but it should be taken under your doctor's supervision, especially when pregnant!
