My 13 yr. Old son has been complaining about sinus pressure, has a runny nose and his ears bother him. I have a bottle of liquid amoxicillin that he's had from a previous ear infection, 2016. It has an expiration of 2019. Is it safe for him?

If that is the expiration date listed on the label, it should be fine, but it is always best to double check with your doctor or pharmacist, and you should never medicate a child, unless their doctor confirms the presence of some issues requiring a medication.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
