I have a high pain tolerance. I had to put my hand on my stomach to time my contractions. I didn't even know I had already been having contractions. Tylenol 500 which I'm pretty sure you have to have a prescription for the one pill being 500 mg usually hurts my stomach or makes me feel sick.

Genetic? It's too strong for me too. But I remember liking darvocet and darvon, too much. I would be telling them I was in pain just because I knew they would give me a pill every 4 hours. I'm pretty sure I wasn't in any pain. Luckily they didn't send me home with any.. so maybe I would agree with your logic. Mainly Tylenol 500 makes me like sick to my stomach it puts me in pain in other words.

OK so I got prescribed TCL 341s, I really don’t f*** with pain killers. I am also prescribed clonazepam and i have a friend who has stolen them from me so I want to make sure this isn’t something she can abuse. Mainly because whether or not someone can get high on them, she’s gonna steal them anyway no matter how hard I try to hide them.

Pain killers shouldn't be abused, but told to stay away from all painkillers is very extreme. Obviously whoever is telling you that either has a very, very high pain tolerance or has never had chronic pain. You do have to be careful with painkillers, OTC & prescriptions but with some common sense and research (& the help of your medical professional), taking them shouldn't be an issue.

*giggle* generic tylenol isn't a true "pain killer". Perhaps they were talking about the liver toxicity that can occur if you take more than 4,000 mg (8 x 500 mg pills) in a 24 hr period. Technically though, they are actually an analgesic. An analgesic is a drug that achieves "analgesia" which is, the relief of pain.

Editor's note: updated toxicity threshold from saying 6,000 mg to the correct amount of 4,000 mg

Lol. What is everyone talking about too strong? Norco? Lol. TCI 341 is just OTC ACETAMINOPHEN! GENERIC TYLENOL! Norco is prescription pain medicine. The pill you asked about you can get in most any store, pharmacy or gas station in America. Ms. Right gotta disagree, Tylenol IS NOT A "pain killer" lol, a pain reliever yes. Prescription meds are normally deemed lo pain-killers. All you guys, mostly everyone here responded to the question, saying a TCL 341 is strong?! Ha you guys are light-weights. No really if most of you all here are saying Acetaminophen is strong lol, then stay clear of the REAL pain killers!

painkillers are not of the devil...........PERIOD. If someone is in pain, thats what they are there for. Perhaps everyones thresh hold is different. Everyone tolerates pain differently.... and if you cant tolerate the pain you are in.....then by all means kill it......with a painKILLER !.............PERIOD..
