Irbesartan, Safe To Halve Tablet?

As long as it isn't time released, then yes, you can cut it, as long as your doctor approves.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
However, if it is time released, then no, it is not safe to cut it.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been prescribed 75mg irbesartan and take a half tablet daily. There is no split line on these tablets so are they suitable for half dosing?
