Ip 272 Acne

Ip 272. Is a generic for Bactrim DS. Treats all symptoms listed from other comments. The one thing everyone forgot to mention is that it also treats moderate to severe acne and cystic acne. Amazing how my skin cleared up since I have been using the drug. Remember to take In morning and night, preferably with food if you have a sensitive stomach, and plenty of water. I noticed after taking the drug for awhile that I did have joint pain, but other than that it works amazing..

It may help with acne as an off-label use, but the only problem I see that could stem from long term use is that, without having an actual infection to treat, this could create antibiotic resistance to the point where if you did have an infection it may end up becoming much more difficult to eradicate than if you weren't already taking something.

Any surviving bacteria will basically become more resistant to future treatments, and that could potentially cause other unnecessary complications down the road.

With that said, it's probably not something I'd encourage anyone to take for acne alone. But if you have a legitimate infection and also happen to have acne as well, it may be more beneficial in that sense "getting two birds with one stone".
