injection into eyes for macular degeneration

I am sorry, the name you typed is just the name for the injection, intravitreal simply means it is injected into the vitreal membrane and vitreous fluid of the eye. Without knowing what the drug itself is, I can't tell you anything about it as there is more than one type of drug used this way.
