I have been on narcotics for 19yrs when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was hospitalized for 8 weeks. I was seeing someone for 9 yrs. She was shut down. I cant get my records and I need a new doctor. I live in Philadelphia. Can anyone help me? I have been in bef since then. I was given the name of another doctor in Jersey, but after 9 months he also was shut down. I am on SS Disability. I need help ASAP.

Joann, of Phila. Im a resident of NJ. Mydr of over 17 yrs with intractable pain was a functioning human but in 2016 DEA shut down my dr. I like you can’t get any records. Went to NJ dr but without records they look at me as a Drug searcher. Im on SSI. Had surgery on my neck & leg saving surgery in 05 but when New dr looked at my rt leg scar that starts above knee goes across knee & damaged calf muscle, travels almost to ankle. I saw dr notes that he wrote “ small scar”!! My head of tibia was broken into 9 pieces. Besides long bone fractures minuscus damage, tendon ligament now find veinous overgrowth called a tumor (scared) I’ve had many fractures in arms hands damage to feet. Yrs of only over use of left leg & foot now has caused nerve damage to be ignored at age 60 (rt leg damage was in 2005) Bed bound now. If no relief in my intractable pain I plan to live as long as I can tolerate, not as long as dr believe I’ll live.I expect to work on my end of life no longer than 5 more yrs. I pray I can hold on 5 yrs.
